Smartie Collection

A massive thank you all of you who took part in the Smartie collection. We raised a massive £665.  Well done to Beech Class who raised the most – an average of £6.90 each.  This was a brilliant initiative and thank you very much to Natalie for the suggestion.

Father Christmas Messages

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, Father Christmas is unable to visit us this year. However, he has found some time in his busy schedule to record video messages for children. If you would like to receive a personalised message from the Big FC, please make a £3.50 donation via our just giving campaign page and send your receipt together with your child’s name and a short background of what you think Father Christmas would need to know e.g. what they would like for Christmas (just to remind him) to  You will receive a video message back to your email.  Any requests must be sent to us by 11th December.

Christmas Raffle

We will be running a Christmas raffle this year.  We would like parents to donate items for Christmas hampers that will be part of the prizes.  Donations (anything Christmassy but not alcohol) needs to be brought in on 11th Dec and in return the children will have a non-school uniform day.  Raffle tickets will be handed out for sale in the next few days and we will have collection point outside school to collect back the stubs/payments during the week of 7th December (please put these in in envelopes).

Christmas Walk

Our plans for the ‘Christmas Walk’ are coming along well.  This will be taking place between Friday 11th- Sunday 13 December.  Thank you for everyone who has offered to support this by agreeing to hide a clue in their Christmas decorations.    Maps will be available to purchase via the Just Giving page (see below) from early December.

Tea Towels

We had an incredible number of orders for the tea towels this year.  They are now at the printers and we expect to receive them in about 4 weeks.  If you’ve bought tea towels, we will arrange to hand these out at school pick up/ drop off.

Just Giving Page

Given that we are now restricted in what we can do to raise money, we have set up a Just Giving Campaign page.  We will be using this going forward for any events or initiatives.  The address is:
